Bug Description
Binary package hint: liferea
(This is not the same as #127508)
The version of Liferea in Gutsy beta 1 contains the "dangerous bug in 1.4.2b" explained below - with the default settings "out of the box", all feeds update continuously.
Although the workaround is effective the user would have to find that blog entry ...

The version in Gutsy is already 1.4.3b, which no longer has this bug.
