xcompmgr freezes system log out

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xcompmgr

While using xcompmgr for composition I try and log out clicking the log out button on my gnome panel and it seems to lock up. Then to log out i must kill x with the ctr-alt-backspace

Same thing happens to me. I have xcompmgr for Avant Window Manager and it freezes when I hit the Log Out button.

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.
