Bug Description

This is a minor "fit and finish" issue present in Linux Mint (Cinnamon) 17.2.

Currently in the Sound control panel, the play buttons in the Sound Effects pane will, when clicked, start playing the corresponding sound whether or not another sound (or the same sound) is already playing. In the case of longer Sound Effects, such as the login sound, this results on two or more sounds playing concurrently. Instead, the currently-playing sound should be aborted if there is a sound playing when the play button is clicked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Add a relatively long sound file as a sound effect in Sound > Sound Effects
2. Click the play button next to it rapidly several times
3. Hear undesired cacophony

DESIRED BEHAVOR

1. Add a relatively long sound file as a sound effect in Sound > Sound Effects
2. Click the play button next to it rapidly several times
3. With each click, the currently-playing sound is stopped and the new click is dispatched to play.
