Bug Description

Clicking in the vertical scroll bar area repeatedly to navigate through screens of messages caused a crash with the attached error.

One attempt to reproduce the problem failed.

Note that the system at the time of crash was about 50% used (4 GB RAM of 8 GB).

Ubuntu 14.04 (trusty) reached end-of-life on April 25,2019.

This release of Ubuntu is no longer receiving maintenance updates. If this is still an issue using a maintained version of Ubuntu then please let us know otherwise this report can be left to expire in approximately 60 days time.
