Region is reset everytime you click on other language

Bug Description
To reproduce open "Language & Region" plug, choose any other region than "Australia" for English language, click "Set Language", click on another Installed Language in the sidebar, go back to English: The region is set back to Australia and the "Set Language" button is clickable.
Expected behaviour: The previously selected Region should always be displayed, and the Set Language button should not be clickable unless I have changed something.
The problem does not persist after the recommended restart, it's still a bug.
