Bug Description

Hello,
recently an orange login button appeared in the Youtube scope in the top left corner. But I can't login with it. I have more identities under my account and when I select the main one nothing happens, the button is still there and I no personalised videos are shown in the list.

Well, after today's update I was able to login so the login button disappeared - I can even see my subscription channels but if I click on recommended, the view is empty.

Ok, so I thought it was somehow fixed
- although I didn't receive an update, it was removed from my Ubuntu installation devel-proposed with a system update and I had to install it through the Ubuntu Store, so I jumped into a conclusion that it was fixed with an update
after reboot I have to login to the Youtube scope again and select my profile - then it works but as described one post above it doesn't work properly.

If I click on my subscriptions, I usually get the same view as if I click on "Best of Youtube" (the default screen) - and the same applies to "Recommended for you" section. Sometimes it is just blank and only with "My subscriptions" I managed to get a list of channels I am subscribed to - but only the first time I tried and every other attempt shows either me blank screen or the content of "Best of Youtube"

I think its a bit messed up and doesn't strictly follow on what I click.

I just tried, and it all worked fine here. I'm attaching the logs.

Please, if someone can reproduce it, run this command from a terminal (before pressing the button):

   OAU_LOGGING_LEVEL=2 OAU_DAEMON_TIMEOUT=9999 online-accounts-service

then try to reproduce the bug, and then attach the resulting logs to this bug.

Is not just that, when i try to login in, the scopes are locked. You cant pass from a scope to other or swipe to up or down even if you push in the dash in to the scope launcher it will take to you to the initial scope, but you'll cant move it or pulse. Your only chance is restart the device or wait for a fail of the scope that makes the scope restart :P

I tried what you said, running command through ssh before i was in the youtube scope.
When i went to the youtube scope looks like i was already logged in. The Login button has disappeared. I restarted the device and the result is the same without running the command. I was already logged.

I have some logs from the error that makes scope don't answer but Im not sure if those are the corrects logs or not. The log are from: scope registry.

There are two bugs involving the Youtube scope, bug 1544063 and bug 1534541. By reading your comments, I see that different people are affected by either of these bugs. So, I'm marking this bug as a duplicate: please subscribe to the other two bugs to be notified when they get fixed.
