Bug Description

Sorry to report it now, I'm sure there are bigger things to work on, but anyhow.
I didn't update over my easter holiday, so now I have 99 updates waiting, but
I'm not going to download them since I'll not use this pc anymore.

Then I noticed there is no option to hide the update-notifier icon from
notification area.
Usually these programs have an option like "Remind me again later"

I think it'd be good for U-N to have it as well

I currently use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and there you get the logo in the panel and you don't have to click on the updates.

I currently can't test how this is in Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, but I'm afraid there will be only security fixes.
