We should add this Ceph monitoring plugin for Zabbix:
https://github.com/Ved-vampir/ceph-zabbix

It was installed manually and tested with Zabbix plugin.

Hi,

indeed, currently plugin doesn't retrieve per OSD space utilisation but we have 2 triggers which alert when this occurs:
- Ceph health is not OK from <controller nodes>
- Free disk space is less than 20% on volume /var/lib/ceph/osd/ceph-0

and 'ceph health' command return for example: HEALTH_WARN 1 near full osd(s)

You will be alerted and you have all the information to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Fyi, the default ceph thresholds are:
near full: 85%
full: 95%

see http://docs.ceph.com/docs/v0.80/rados/troubleshooting/troubleshooting-osd/#no-free-drive-space
