Bug Description

When I copy some text in Konqueror that contains vowels with accents and paste it in Openoffice Writer, the accented vowels get replaced by odd characters. The problem happens only with those two programs. For example, if you copy in Konqueror and paste in Gedit, or if you copy in Firefox and paste in Openoffice Writer, all goes right. I tried to install some i18n and l10n packages, with no result. I am using Gnome and Ubuntu Feisty for the amd64 architecture.

Thanks for this report

I can confirm this behaviour. It occurs in regard to utf-8 encoded html documents.

Works fine here with Konqueror 4.0.85. I tested an umlaut'd voewl and with accented áéíóú 's.
