Bug Description

Hello,

after updating to Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon Edition the update notifier icon isn't displayed correctly. I've attached a screenshot. This behavior only occurs occasionaly. In most cases the update notifier icon is displayed correctly again after reboot.

So I think, it's a bug.

Same issue.

Going into panel edit mode and even trying to rearrange something fixes the icon (until it happens again)
which makes me think that this might be because of a resize event during panel loading / applet loading that doesn't fire.

In case it's not evident from the OP's screenshot, the correct icon is displayed and even updates (white shield while fetching, green tick, etc) but it is not resized, with the result that only its top left corner shows.

Same here. It's about a 50:50 chance, that the icon is either shown correctly after start up, or not. After it's displayed incorrectly (i.e. too large) it stays like that, even when the icon changes during updates or so (like Nick Raptis reported as well).
