Bug Description

On up to date Wily running on a laptop, when a second monitor is hot plugged in, the image on the laptop monitor is cropped so only lower two thirds are visible and the second monitor shows a black screen with occasional flashes.

If the machine is booted with both monitors connected the displays work as expected.

Same setup works ok on Vivid.
