Bug Description

Ok this is quite easy to reproduce but not easy to explain.

Use case i download something, dismiss it, open a new app try to open the stuff i have downloaded via the other app, the content is missing.

How to reproduce launch the webbrowser app
download any image > content hub appears
select gallery app > notification appears
Dismiss the download

Open telegram app
start a chat
Click on the attachement icon and select photo > content-hub appears
Select gallery app > application is launched.

What i should expect is the downloaded image above can be selected but it is not.

I need to start the gallery app not via the content-hub to see the new image downloaded added

That's likely a gallery-app issue with the index refresh done only when started standalone

affects: gallery-app → gallery-app (Ubuntu)

un-duping this as I believe it's a separate issue..
Problem I'm seeing is this:
1) make sure gallery is not running
2) open browser and download an image
3) select gallery
4) when download complete press "dismiss" button
5) open shell and verify .cache/com.ubuntu.gallery/HubIncoming/X exists and downloaded file lives there
6) open gallery

Expected result:
The photo which was downloaded should appear in gallery

Actual result:
The photo does not always show up in gallery (sometimes it does)
Seems there is a race condition as it only works a small amount of the time. After gallery is opened the file is cleared from HubIncoming directory, so I believe there is an issue with the initial loading and displaying of files found in HubIncoming.

this problem only seems to happen when an non-supported photo (like an svg) is downloaded. In this case, it is never displayed in gallery. With the fix from bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gallery-app/+bug/1452572, I cannot reproduce this issue

This bug was fixed in the package gallery-app - 0.0.67+15.10.20150923-0ubuntu1

---------------
gallery-app (0.0.67+15.10.20150923-0ubuntu1) wily; urgency=medium

  [ Arthur Mello ]
  * Do not ignore file if gallery is not able to read its metadata. Add
libqt5svg5 as build dep to run unittests. (LP: #1452572, #1470638)
  * Request only one thumbnail to be displayed at SingleMediaViewer to
avoid reloading at fullscreen toggle (LP: #1494383)

  [ CI Train Bot ]
  * New rebuild forced.
