Bug Description

When I select two photos with gthumb, the used memory increases and the
application then closes.

Version: 3:2.6.3-1ubuntu2

Steps to reproduce:
1) open gthumb
2) go to a directory with at least 2 pictures
3) click on one picture
4) while pressing shift, click on the next picture

Results:
The amount memory used by the system increases suddenly (observed with the
system monitor gnome applet), and when the max is attained gThumb closes.

Comments: I use Ubuntu Hoary with the last updates, I have only 256MB memory,
and the size of the pictures involved is around 2MB

That works fine here. Do you have the issue with all the files ? What kind of
files is that ?

They are just normal JPEG Photos. (I can send them to you if you have some space
on your mail box...)
