The Quickplay Buttons on the Hptx1000z do not fully work.

The DVD and QuickPlay Main Buttons are recognized, but not the "rotate" and "mobility" ones.

Is there a fix?

Hello sauronsmatrix.
Recently I have acquired a HP tx2000es which is quite similar to your model and I'm in the same case.
In order to make it easier for developers, you could follow this page [ https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HotkeyResearch ] and paste here your results.

If I don't mistake, I did it but none of the 4 methods worked for me. Let's see your results.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release?
