knetworkmanager does not launch at startup

This bug only appeared with a recent update to Gutsy. It was working fine before.

At startup my network connection is not recognized and I have to manually configure it in knetworkmanager. Until that time, I have no network connection at all.

After fixing it, the applet still shows no connection, in spite of the fact that there now is one.

This bug references an update to gutsy breaking the automatic start up of knetworkmanager and I am wondering if one of the updates since the bug was reported has fixed this bug? Could you please update the status of this bug?

Hello Jonathan,

This is no longer an issue.
Initially it was the case after installing ubuntu.

Since I added the kDE window manager( kubuntu) the problem was solved.
