Bug Description

I just deployed MAAS 1.8.0~rc3+bzr4000-0ubuntu1~trusty1 and went ahead to import the boot images.

I went to the images tab, clicked apply and it started the process. Or maybe not, because the same page that says it is importing images also says this:
"""
Boot image import process not started. Nodes will not be able to provision without boot images. Visit the boot images page to start the import.
"""

See attached screenshot.

This is very confusing, because I just started the process, and it says it didn't. Did it fail? What is going on?

Hi Andreas,

That just seems to be a message that failed to disappear while the image process is importing. Can you try to reload that page, (or go to a different page and come back to the Images page to see if that message disappears?)

I don't have that particular MAAS server up anymore, but I have another one where I get the attached screenshot when I reload the page.

Other comments:
- what is that "import images" button doing there, in this last screenshot?
- what does it mean "Region importing"? I'm at the image import tab, why is it talking about importing regions?
- what's the progress? The spinning wheel doesn't have any percentage when I hover over it, for example
