Bug Description

Noob - have tried Sikuli before but always failed to get it to run on my Mac
So having ready the comments about Yosemite I thought that I would try a nightly build to see if that worked.

So I am running :-
SikulixIDE 1.1.0
Build 2015-05-25_01nightly
on
IMac Intel 21.5 late 2009
3.06 GHz
Memory 16 GB
OS X Yosemite
Version 10.10.3

It seems to run ok with the following problems
1. Run Script - on completion - exit() - the script screen Sometimes can't be edited - workround - click on region icon and escape - then I can edit
2. Script will sometimes terminate and return to the editor with a blank screen - workround - close and start again.

If this is just because I am running a BETA then please ignore this
if not
have read up about being able to create debug file but could not work out what to enter in the editor for a MAC
                                                                                      or
maybe its other stuff that is outdated, can someone tell me what and how to check what versions of other "things" that it relies on - maybe Java - I have no idea where to start looking.

Thanks in Advance

-- 1. Since I am in the pre-final phase of 1.1.0, you should watch-out on the nightly builds page for recent changes and preferably install the latest version (currently you should use a version 2015-06-15+)

-- 2. the flaws of the GUI you mention are known and must be accepted currently, since I will revise the IDE only in version 2.

--- the script screen Sometimes can't be edited
it is sufficient to click somewhere outside the IDE window and then back in the edit area. this brings back the caret.

--- Script will sometimes terminate and return to the editor with a blank screen
not sure, what you mean

BTW: to avoid loss of script content, I recommend to switch on the option "autosave all" in Preferences -> more options

The Script screen has no commands on it - just a blank screen and unable to do anything other than abort
Script is not lost and is there when I reload

But - yes I am on a BETA - please ignore
Have Autosave on and if edited it asks me to save when I run which I always do

When the final release is done I will change all my Automator Tasks to Sikuli as it is much faster on execution being able to wait till something exists as with automator you have to pause for what you expect to be te longest delay that can happen - e.g. a screen loading.

Have found it a very usefull tool
