[shell] Should Full shell rotation work in Windowed mode?

Bug Description

Although full shell rotation is currently available on devel-proposed, it doesn't work with windowed mode and everything is locked in portrait mode.
Is there a way to enable it, to force landscape mode or a reason why this is not available (like not yet implemented)?

Windowed mode is highly experimental and not completed yet. Can't answer your question yet. There are some discussions and planning that needs to happen still.

sharing this with design team, it's an interesting idea.
however, in the event we were to want to "rotate" in windowed mode, we are a very long way from that and isn't a requirement currently on the horizon of our product management team.

This "bug" has been fixed recently.

Well, sort of - display stays rotated the way it is if windowed mode is triggered - but can't be rotated in windowed mode.
