Bug Description

After switching off "Other vibrations" in the Sound settings I expect all haptic feedback to be disabled. Unfortunately I could still feel vibrations when touching buttons for example.

It seems all components which have been derived from AbstractButton{} provided by the Ubuntu SDK ignore the "Other Vibrations" settings.

This is reproducible on,
OTA-4 BQ E4.5 r23
Nexus 4 ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/ubuntu 15.04 r165

Setting writes its setting, but where? It used to work, and suddenly it doesn't.

We still have the problem with the confined apps not being able to read the setting. Any progress on that?

Are you seeing apparmor denials on the access? if so we may need a task on apparmor-easyprof to address it.

I tried with the camera and the calculator and don't see any apparmor denials.

I tried in System Settings, Messages, Contacts, all have their buttons silent. There has to be some denial on accessing settings. This or a similar bug has been there for some time, and it was so that there will be a service which can be accessed by confined apps too. I had not heard anything about that since May.
