Bug Description

Kernel logs are essential for diagnostics. Fuel Snapshot in latest GA release 6.0 does not collect these logs - syslog and messages.

Dmitry, what messages are you losing? We grab messages by topic when sent to Fuel Master via rsyslog. They're all filtered into different files. If we're dropping any log messages, we can address them.

Changed in fuel:
milestone: none → 7.0
assignee: nobody → Matthew Mosesohn (raytrac3r)
importance: Undecided → Medium
status: New → Incomplete

Where would I see a hard drive failure?
Or a stack trace generated by ethernet driver?
Which files would contain such messages?

Matthew, you should collect files from nodes.
I think that would be the right thing to do. Those which are collected via rsyslog are in different format (less convenient to analyze) and missing some logs (like syslog from nodes or messages)
This needs to be changed in 7.0 and better to be backported to 6.1/6.0

Since it's already addressed in 6.1 and 7.0, I'm marking it as Invalid for those milestones. 6.0-updates has been assigned to mos-sustaining team.
