Bug Description

Something apparently causes the app menu to disappear. This is a regression due to the headerbar support.

I can't seem to reproduce this. Are there specific steps that make it happen?

I'm trying running GTK3 trunk with "GTK_CSD=1" so it uses the headerbar, but I couldn't find a series of actions that made the app menu disappear. Does one need to use the toolbar editor?
