Bug Description

entire system became unstable and frozen for a minute, then the program crash occurred (so many programs crashed at once, i don't know which report this is (in what package did you find this bug? -- "compiz" was automatically chosen for me... and i do remember this as one of the crashes so i bet this is that report??)

Can anyone reproduce this crash in Ubuntu 9.10 with the latest packages? It might have already been fixed.

The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala.
