Bug Description

ubuntu-core-launcher is setuid root. This means that certain environment vars are cleared including TMPDIR [0]. This means that the logic inside ubuntu-core-launcher that reads and creates $TMPDIR if its set will not work.

This is fixed with the latest launcher that sets up a private TMPDIR.
