when setting up users during install and moving down through arrow keys the text still gets shows username as highligted when you are entering your password in.

Bug Description

To reproduce install a desktop iso and then at the screen where you enter your full name enter a one word full name then press the down arrow key three times without change the user name or hostname to get to the password field and it will still show like you have selected. even though I am entering in the password.

I took a screenshot of this virtual machine saved on the host I will soon attach.

I expected when I have the password field selected my username not show as if it was selceted text. INstead I could enter my entire password with the text still shown as selected.

I actaully was able to get this same behaviort on the detect keyboard layout by first entering something in and also on the time zone status bar in ubiquity.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1462816

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
