Bug Description
I have a lot of scheduled transactions.
I am convinced that the economic planning merits a great attention, in order to create it that in order to follow it.
Through this tool, a user have to do choices and take decisions for planning the future. As it regards the economic side of life, obvious. ;-)
Speaking about the "Manage scheduled/template transactions" window, in my opinion there are several things that could be improved.
Could I suggest some little changes?
# viewing:
in the tiny ledger, show also the next date and the amount.
[Icon], [Memo], [Next date] and [Amount].
# order by:
it's need a tool to change on the fly the way of ordering. The big thing that is missing is the order "by day" of the list, but sometimes it's useful use the alphabetical order.
# group by date:
a big help to analyze the economic impact of the transactions is a sum by month of it. I'm thinking of a simple a multiple selection (like the ledger does) to view the sum of selected.
# filtering and search:
there is no way to search through the list. If I digit the first few characters of what I am looking for, the search doesn't work. I imagine a textbox where the user can type few chars to filter by. Like the ledger, you know. By the way, I will never stop to thank you for creating it! I'm serious.
# duplicating:
think about a payments by installments (et similia). Not always, but sometimes it's necessary (or it's more convenient) to record every single transaction instead to set a recurrency. For that, a simply "Control C" + "Control V" would be welcome!
Ciao e grazie per la tua pazienza.

About this ticket, I'm pleased to share with you (and the rest of the world, of course) this little code I've created in Python that digs in the .xhb file extracting and analyzing the "<fav" lines.
This tool helps me planning the future.
The output is a list aggregated by month where the user can read the future transaction.
The transaction will be repeated according the "Scheduled insertion" set in Homebank: if a transaction is monthly, the list will show it month by month... and so on.
The code works in "read only" and ends after the output. No GUI at all. It works only in Terminal and it is tested only in Linux Mint Cinnamon.
Please keep in mind that I had done a sort of reverse engineering to understand the meaning of "flags=" tags. So I am sorry if I misunderstood something.
Before the use, it has to change the location of the file .xhb. It is in the line 11.
I will be happy to receive feedback and suggestion.
Ciao!
