Root disk creation fails.

Im using fuel 6.0 with ubuntu 12.04 and cinder with lvm backend.
I have experienced issue with creating VM with ephemeral local storage. VM was created but image size was only 5 Gigs, when requested size was 350Gigs. There is info about nova-rootwrap command failure in nova-compute.log and info about error in kern.log. Moreover vm didn't end up in error state, but it was created succesfully ( but with smaller disk ), I assume that this VM should not start. Logs attached
Please tell if you need any other logs.

Hi, could you please answer some questions:

1) What was your env configuration (e.g how many computes/controllers and so on)?
2) What were flavor characteristics used for the instance?
3) What image do you use for booting vm (cirros/ubuntu)?
4) How do you check the size of disks of the booted vm?
5) What are your expected sizes of the disks?
6) Could you attach a diagnostic snapshot?

Hi Pavel,
I can't see edit button, but it should be root disk instead of ephemeral disk.

1. 1 controller, 15 computes, no ceph, lvm for cinder, nova-network for networking
2. vm flavor was: 48vcpus, 60gigs of ram, 350gigs of storage, 0g ephemeral, 0gswap
3. ubuntu 14.10 downloaded from ubuntu.com
4. 2 things, 1 df -h showed that /var/lib/nova has only a little more than 5gigs used and it was the only one vm on that host, and user reported that inside a vm he saw only 5gig disk mounted as /
5. It should be 350gigs
6. Unfortunately no. My Fuel server is broken currently so I can't generate diagnostic.

Could you please provide a link to your used image? Do you use some trusty ubuntu image or make some custom changes?
