Bug Description

Paul is marking as orphan "qalculate" package. But remove this "package that no one is using" resulting in remove the Qalculate application itself. Lets demonstrate:

$ deborphan
qalculate:all
$ sudo apt-get remove `deborphan`
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
  aglfn gnuplot-x11 libcln6 libqalculate5 libqalculate5-data qalc
  qalculate-gtk
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  qalculate
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
After this operation, 29.7 kB disk space will be freed.

Long ago, the `qalculate` package became a dummy package migrating over to `qalculate-gtk`. The way to work around this message is to run `apt-mark manual qalculate-gtk` or `apt install qalculate-gtk` to mark the new package name as manually installed.

This dummy package no longer exists in recent versions, so marking this as fixed.

Changed in qalculate-gtk (Ubuntu):

status: Invalid → Fix Released
