Bug Description
I use a Rapoo mouse/keyboard combo (two separate peripherals). I use one usb wireless receiver for both devices. For some reason the unity control panel's mouse section does not seem to recognize that a mouse is plugged in, and so I an unable to adjust the pointer speed via the UI.
However, when I plug in a standard corded USB mouse, I am able to adjust the pointer speed.
What should happen is that as long as I have a mouse plugged in, regardless if its wireless, corded, or a mouse/keyboard combo, the control panel should give me the option to adjust the pointer speed of the mouse. Right now if I want to adjust the sensitivity for my wireless mouse, I have to plug in my corded mouse and then adjust the speed.
Attached is a screenshot of the control panel for the mouse/touchpad with the mouse speed sensitivity slider so the control panel/slider I am speaking about is clearly understood. The slider, as described above, is only present when a corded USB mouse is plugged in.
I am currently using 64bit 14.10 Utopic.
