Bug Description

All of a sudden, I believe as a result of a kernel upgrade, I cannot play sound via my HDMI output (television). The option is not listed anymore in sound settings or VLC. Video output on hdmi works fine. The internal speakers work fine as well.

I have lenovo ideapad u330p.

I can confirm it does work on the previous kernel, 3.19.0-16-generic. It does not work on 3.19.0-18-generic.
