Bug Description

My OS: 15.04

What I did: updated Firefox to newest avaliable version (38.0) thru "apt-get update"

Problem description:

None of the preferences tab (except General) to with I try to switch is working

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner. There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version.

When you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:

apport-collect 1456181

and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.

Unfortunatelly, I have a customized ubuntu and the version I have don't have apport installed (it need installing). However I don't have time for it now due work

The bug is still present.

Note: Due fail of router, I'm cut off from any internet access and I won't be able to reply as fast as I would be wanting too, so plese keep this ticket open for me. Thanks

Michael, you have told us that you are running Vivid Vervet which became "End of life" on February 4, 2016. What version of Firefox are you using? You should now be using version 48.0.

Bugs will never be fixed once a release is unsupported or new versions of software become available.

Please confirm your Ubuntu and Firefox versions.

If you are running a supported Ubuntu release and Firefox 48.0 then please install and run:

apport-collect 1456181

in a terminal as requested.

I've changed the bug status to "Incomplete" awaiting your input.

Due technical issues with router I'm temporary cut-out from Internet at home. I will update this report as soon I get the Internet back. Till then please keep it open. Thanks
