Bus 002 Device 005: ID 138a:0050 Validity Sensors, Inc.

How to get detected this device?

I have installed the latest version of libfprint & I know this is not among the list of supported device but is there a patched version or experimental version of driver available for this deice.

Anything new? I have got a new laptop and don't want to switch to Ubuntu and throw away the reader.
