Commit for "Enable version discovery" ae03d2a721bd9ac
This is because we were using the default interface instead of checking to see if an endpoint_type is passed in.

I've merged this fix, but I believe that the commit message is incorrect, and therefore the fix is not linked in. The "Closes-Bug: 1454407" Should have a pound/hash sign '#'
I'm not sure if it matters beyond bookkeeping for the bug report, but may need a fixup for the release.
