Bug Description

Running snappy on ubuntu 15.04 on ppc64el architecture causes a panic:

$ sudo snappy update
panic: runtime error: invalid memory address or nil pointer dereference
[signal 0xb code=0x1 addr=0x98]

Hi Breno, that does remind me of bug #1304754, but that should be fixed in 15.04.

Is this still an issue with snapd in 16.04? We run ppc64el snapd binaries in our autopkgtest infrastructure and we do not see this crash anymore.
