unity8-lxc-setup - install log empty?

I installed unity8 in lxc in Vivid:
apt-get install unity8-lxc ... ok ... I find log in /var/log/apt
unity8-lxc-setup ... run ok(?) ... I'm unable to find log of the installation (/var/log/lxc/unity8-lxc.log is empty)
(I have a black screen with arrow logging to unity8 in lxc from LightDM)

Hi,

There aren't really any unity8-lxc logs in and of itself.

Please attach the following logs (if they exist) after the issue occurs:

/var/log/lightdm/lightdm.log
/var/log/lightdm/unity-system-compositor.log
~/.cache/upstart/unity8.log

Sorry, I do't know which I should include from lightdm last or .old? so I include the whole lightdm folder plus the unity8.log.

Hmm, looks like some issue w/ Mir, but I'm no expert in that, so I'm not 100% sure.

As a test, could you make a Ubuntu Desktop Next USB stick and try to boot from that and see if the live session works? See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Unity8DesktopIso for more details on how to do that if you don't know already. I want to rule out the LXC stuff acting funny.

I have already used Ubuntu Desktop Next from a DVD as live session and have also installed it on this same computer. I was unsatisfied with the interface so now I'm using the partition to try with LXC but the system was working.

I've looked a little closer to the error which is this:

std::exception::what: locale::facet::_S_create_c_locale name not valid

Doing a little searching, it seems the locale on your computer is not quite set up correctly.

It seems running 'locale-gen' is a way to fix this, but I suggest you do some more research on how to properly do this.

running 'locale-gen' does not resolve, may be the problem comes from my 'mixed' locale (language en, keybord it)?

I also rerun the command to update lxc but ...
