Bug Description

I have changed the Expo plugin's Expo Key from the default <Super>s to <Super>w using ccsm, and it worked (the new shortcut).

However, pressing <Super>s still yields Expo. Even after reassigning/binding that key to the Scale plugin's Window Picker.
I have searched inside dconf to see if there was some lost entry to <Super>s but nothing.
I even searched inside gconf which actually had <Super>s inside /apps/compiz-1/plugins/expo/screen0/options/expo_key, even though gconf should not be in use. I changed it to <Super>w just in case. The problem persisted.

This issue prevents the <Super>s shortcut to be used for anything other than Expo.

Another interesting finding is that I can disable the Expo Key, which in my case effectivelly disables <Super>w, but pressing <Super>s still calls Expo!

After searching a bit I found two other instances of this problem:
- http://w3facility.org/question/disable-super-s-in-ubuntu-13-04/ - one of the bottom comments, for 14.04;
- http://askubuntu.com/questions/62045/how-to-disable-windows-s-keystroke-in-unity#comment140973_62049 - for 11.10;

In summary:
Expected behaviour: unbinding <Super>s from Expo should not call Expo when pressing <Super>s
What happened instead: Pressing <Super>s calls Expo, no matter what, really - only way so far is to disable Expo (consequently disabling the Unity plugin).

My system:
Ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS
unity 7.2.4+14.04.20150316-0ubuntu1
compiz 1:0.9.11.3+14.04.20150313-0ubuntu1

I also tried without luck to get rid of that shortcut through unity-tweak-tool and compizconfig-settings-manager.

Also desperate to make this work.
I tried:
- Purging unity entirely
- Using ccsm to remove the binding (Expo, and others, searched everywhere)
- Using gconf-editor to remove the binding
- Using gsettings to remove it

Nothing works.
It's extremely frustrating - I need that key.

Seriously considering ditching the entire Ubuntu experience and running my own wm as I used to do a long time ago.
