The wireless interface works with this module https://github.com/hadess/rtl8723as.git and a 4.0+ kernel
But I have a lot of instability issue with mmc /sdhci / i2c ...

I will continue to test new kernels and maybe experiment some kernel patches.

In case it can be useful , I post my tests results here :

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?

Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest v4.0 kernel[0].

If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel-fixed-upstream'.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel-bug-exists-upstream'.

If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel-unable-to-test-upstream'.
Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed".

Thanks in advance.

This is a sample product, that's why the DMI informations are not set.

The model written on the backside is : B28 1512

This product is sold under the name : TERRA PAD 1061 W8.1 Pro
But this sample is probably not identical (at least the DMI infos and probably the bios version)

Pascal VITOUX, just to advise, this bug report is going to focus on only one issue. Hence, which of the following mentioned in the Description would you like this report to focus on:
1) no sound (no card detected)
2) no wireless (no interface detected, the chip is Realtek RTL8723BS)
3) unstable clocksource (tsc should be used instead of refined-jiffies)
4) power button not handled
5) battery not detected
6) internal webcam not detected

Pascal VITOUX, could you please test the latest upstream kernel available from the very top line at the top of the page (the release names are irrelevant for testing, and please do not test the daily folder) following https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Kernel/MainlineBuilds ? It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.

If the test did not allow you to test to the issue (ex. you couldn't boot into the OS) please make a comment in your report about this, and continue to test the next most recent kernel version until you can test to the issue. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please comment on which kernel version specifically you tested. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tags by clicking on the yellow circle with a black pencil icon, next to the word Tags, located at the bottom of the report description:
kernel-fixed-upstream
kernel-fixed-upstream-X.Y-rcZ

Where X, Y, and Z are numbers corresponding to the kernel version.

If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the following tags:
kernel-bug-exists-upstream
kernel-bug-exists-upstream-X.Y-rcZ

Please note, an error to install the kernel does not fit the criteria of kernel-bug-exists-upstream.

Once testing of the latest upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug's Status as Confirmed. Please let us know your results.

Thank you for your understanding.

The sound card still doesn't work.

I needed to reinstall Vivid from a 32bits live-usb so I switched the architecture tag to i386.

The clock source is now 'tsc' as it should be, so its a small improvement.

Pascal VITOUX, to clarify, 32-bit OSes are not considered a support focus upstream. Hence, could you please remain on 64-bit, test the latest mainline kernel (4.2-rc3), and advise to the results?
