Keyboard selection dialog not selectable in 14.04.2

Bug Description
Using the i386 14.04.2 live CD to install in a Virtualbox VM reaches the point of the keyboard profile selection, but the actual selection is impossible, and the whole window is only draggable. The test box for text input has the same problem. Nothing is selectable in the window.
Hopefully the attached video will show this (also available at http://
*Eventually* (once all disk I/O has finished - initial file copying?) it is selectable, but this takes hours.

There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test it on a currently supported Ubuntu version. If you test it and it is still an issue, kindly upload the updated logs by running only once:
apport-collect 1451275
and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
