HPLIP toolbox not working with system-config-printer choosen printer

Description:

I install my HP Deskjet 930C at USB port with system-config-printer. I choose the recommended hpijs driver and click OK. Now if I open HP toolbox, it says that it only can use printers which are configured through hp:/...

system-config-printer uses usb://HP/DESKJET%20930C?serial=ES08N1900XJJ as device URI that means it does not work with HP toolbox.

How to reproduce:

1. Plug in your USB HP printer
2. Open system-config-printer from administration menu
3. Install your printer, here for example Deskjet 930C with recommended settings
4. Open HP toolbox

Results:

HP toolbox shows a dialog in which it says that it can only work with printers configured wit hp:/... CUPS backend.

Expected behavior:

Users with HP printers should have easy access to printer information given in HPLIP toolbox. That means that system-config-printer should have a driver option with HPLIP.

Step 3 needs further explanation. 'hp:' URIs are shown higher up in the list than 'usb:' URIs are, so if it's the only printer connected it will be the one already selected.

How are you choosing which device to configure?

I'm not at home the next 4 days so that I can test it only next week.

As far as I remember there was no option with "hp:..." otherwise I have choosen that. But I will try it again next week.

I don't think that the duplicate bug describes the same problem I described here. But I have added screenshots to bug report #147369.
