Bug Description
Binary package hint: pidgin
I open pidgin, then go offline (e.g. disabling network from network-manager, or disconnecting cable) and pidgin stays online, also displaying my contacts as if they where still available. When reconnecting, it seems that I have to put pidgin offline first, and then online again, to resync contacts status.

Hi,
Thanks for your bug. I assume you are running the Pidgin provided by the Gutsy(7.10) repositories. Which protocols you are using?
