Bug Description

Version 0.91, OS Windows 8.1 (64)

If One imports a tiff image and afterwards a jpeg (or vice versa) inkscape crashes. It works with verrion 0.48 but if you then try to open that drawing with 0.91 inkscape crashes also.

Additional information (copied from duplicate report)
======================
- inkscape-0.91-x64.msi
- Import options: link/ original resolution
- datei/import (german version)
- import the two files in the appendix
(I did this with images on local storage, if that matters)
- I use photoshop CS2, if that matters

The problem mixing jpg and tiff import is (in my case) obviously, I realized that and I use just one image format.

But this problem seems to bee rather strange, so what I did:

- I created a ne drawing on my Laptop with tiff and jpeg over WLAN on a NAS with Inkscape 0.48
- I tried to open that work on my Desktop using Inkscape 0.91 => crash
- I installed Inkscape 0.48 additional to 0.91 on my desktop (hopefully not to loos a nights work) but now error message: "Inkscape ist auf einen internen Fehler gestoßen und wird nun geschlossen".(German Version)
- The drawing is still looking good on my laptop with inkscape 0.48

Could you please add details about the installer package used for Inkscape 0.91 to the bug description?
(32bit|64bit; msi|exe|paf.exe|7z)

To allow further investigation, could you please
- provide details about the import options used (embed or link, resolution) - assuming the report is about 'File > Import' and not about import via clipboard), and
- attach a test case (Inkscape SVG file with two imported bitmap images with opens ok in 0.48 but crashes on load with Inkscape 091).

Inkscape 0.91, 64bits, x64.msi installer
Windows 7 64bits

Dear all,

I encounter exactly the same problem as Gunther.

Inkscape 0.91 crashes when importing a tif image and afterwards a jpg image (or vice versa).
however, Inkscape 0.91 doesn't crash if a jpg and a png are imported in the same document, nor if a png and tif are imported.
The only problematic combination is jpg and tif.

It crashes when image are embedded or simply linked (Image DPI from file, Rendering None).
If it matters, I dragged and dropped the attached images into inkscape.

I don't encounter any problem with 0.48 version, nor with the portable 0.91 32bits version.
The svg files generated with 0.48 and portable 0.91 versions (attached) cannot be opened with 0.91 64bits version.

Thanks for your help, I really love Inkscape
