Hello Luke,

This problem is known and has been fixed upstream in Debian. There are three libraries in jpeg deposits and dependencies of software is conflicting.

Try installing the libjpeg62 library. This could remove another incompatible package.

I know little about Ubuntu, maybe your version will be updated, but Utopic Ubuntu (14.10) has the same problem.

Regards,

Thanks! Should be a simple dependency change then.

In Debian, the package has migrated to libjpeg62-turbo , which is not present in Ubuntu. Support for libjpeg-turbo8 has been removed in <https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=763263>.

Since we can't update our version of libjpeg-turbo, we'll have to revert that patch.

Eh, spent an hour wrangling the package and nothing to show. I'll let someone more skilled take a stab.
