Applications in top panel can't be killed

Hi everyone,

If a application e.g. Remmina starts, it will create a new Icon in the top panel - so far so good.

If I try to close it via right click on the icon and exit it doesn't close it.

Problem persists with Spotify and Remmina so far but I don't think it's actually a Application problem, more a panel problem.

Try to use left click.

works for Spotify but not for Remmina.

It's confusing to get a menu for right and left click but only if I click left it will close.

For Remmina:

If i close it via left click, the icon disappear but the window is still there.
