Bug Description
by requiring "click and hold" for choosing the extra keyboard functionality, the user must keep their finger on the screen where the options are displayed. This makes it difficult to see which options are available. Making the functionality "click to display" and "click to hide" would make it easier for the user to choose an option.
[UX Comment]
Click to display/ hide has the disadvantage of the default choice always requiring an additional press/click to use.
I'd recommend:
- A single tap/click makes the default choice.
- A long tap/click results in other available choices being shown. The default choice that was initially pressed is pushed into the newly revealed options (meaning there is now a 'blank spot' under the users finger and the default choice is still visible).
-- Dragging up to another choice and releasing results in that item being chosen.
-- Releasing without dragging (over the new 'blank spot') results in nothing being chosen.

if the change still requires the user to keep their finger on the screen, then the bug will still be valid.
Requiring 1 extra tap isn't bad compared to forcing the user to keep their finger between the on screen text and the users eyes.
