nautilus crashed with SIGABRT in g_assertion_message() on "create new directory with selection"

Bug Description

The crash happens in a local folder.

Operation to reproduce:
- select 4 files
- right-click and select creat new directory with this selection

Expected:
a "New Folder" directory with the 4 selected files moved inside it.

Got:
a "New Folder" with only 2 files inside it, and a nautilus crash.

Additional:
Operation was done while some other files were moved from ftp:// to a file:// other folder.

Reading a similar report on https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1225493 you need to copy files which have a thumbnail (images for example), that is also described upstream on https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=728448

The error tracker confirms it's fixed, there has been no report since 16.10
