Bug Description
This is only a visual glitch, but it does affect user experience.
Once the shield icon is clicked, up pops Muon Update Manager, briefly displaying some sort of list. That lasts only a flicker, then downloading of the list of necessary updates commences. Once the download is complete, the list of updates displays properly. Once the update button is pushed, and the password entered, the process completes successfully.
That flicker leaves the user with an uneasy feeling however, and it should not be displayed.
