Video file still in use by Firefox although I closed the Firefogg tab

Bug Description
After closing the Firefogg browser tab, I tried changing a video's file name, to no avail. Windows 8.1 shows me a "File In Use" error stating that "the action can't be completed because the file is open in Firefox. Close the file and try again."
Only after closing all Firefox browser tabs could I successfully change the file name.
I guess it doesn't have to be this way?
