Bug Description
Binary package hint: xorg
Using a Dell Latitude D600 laptop. Very usually when switching users, the mouse buttons do not work on the new user. It's especially easy to see when "Lock the screen after switching users" has been selected. Switching manually with ctrl-alt-f7/f8/f9 back to the first user, unlocking the screen and switching back resolves the problem.
The problem has been in feisty, but unfortunately also exists in gutsy.

Changing the component to synaptics. As additional information, I cannot reproduce this on a desktop computer. Also now again when I switched the buttons on the touchpad do not work, while an external mouse's buttons work now that I have such also. The cursor moves also with touchpad, but the buttons do not work.
