Firefox 36.0.4 reports plugins vulnerability sudo upgrade tells already updated

I have recently updated system , firefox (36.0.4) reports that vlc and quicktime plugin(totem) is vulnerable, however when checked for updates via update browser-plugin-vlc and totem its says " Already the newest version"
