Bug Description

Ubuntu 14.04

xorg version: 1:7.7+1ubuntu8.1

This bug occurs when trying to switch between two users on the system where both profiles are loaded.

Expected behaviour:

The system should switch from the lock screen of user1 to the logon screen of user2. Then, after supplying credentials, it should log on user2.

What happened instead:

When user2 supplies credentials and tries to log on, the screen flickers for about 5 seconds before showing the deskrop of user2. In some cases (as happened right before this bug report) the system will not succeed in logging on user2 and switch back to the logon screen. Sometimes when the system switches back to the logon screen, the screen will be unresponsive.
