[Lenovo Miix 2 11] Synaptic/ITE-Tech touchpad (06cb:a001) cannot be configured by hid_rmi

Problem:
The touchpad in the Dock of the Lenovo Mixx 2 11!" does not work. It is handled by the kernel module hid-rmi. Initialization fails with the following error message:

The bug also happens with original 3.19.2 kernel, under arch linux and debian jessie. With Ubuntu 14.04 / 14.10 neither the keyboard nor the touchpad work, so i hab no chance to file the bug with these versions.

However, with an older Kernel (testet Debian Wheezy (Kernel 3.2.0)) both the keyboard and touchpad work (assumingly because hid_rmi simply is not available and thus hid_generic is running the touchpad).
